Tulsi
Holy basil, dried, the leaf a courtyard already knows.
Tulsi is the basil many homes grow by the door and dry for the kitchen. Traditionally used in Indian kitchens, especially in a cup of tea. The leaf should still smell like the plant.
What we are looking for: Leaves dried gently, from a grower or a garden we can speak for.
An illustrative photograph. Not a True North pack. Enquire below. This page does not take payment.
Before it reaches a kitchen
- A grower we can introduce with respect.
- A harvest that tastes like its name.
- Words on the pack that match what is inside.

A note about Tulsi. It does not reserve the food, and it does not take payment.
