Soaps with a short list: oil, lye, time, and what the recipe names.
A handmade soap should be readable. The oils in it ought to be ones we already understand. We want a bar a home can choose because the list is plain, not because the wrapper is loud.
What we are looking for: A soap a person would be glad to explain to a guest.
